The Animalia Kingdom is divided into two factions, each owned by Bulls and Bears. Each Titan has its own special abilities that can alter the gameplay in a particular way. Titans are gameplay characters and avatars representing players or bosses within a match. Players can summon and fight against their opponents by synergising with specific Critters, Spells and Weapons. Titan will be able to attack once a Weapon is equipped, with the exception of one scenario. When a player runs out of cards in their deck during a PvP match, the player’s Titan will turn into Frenzy mode, and can attack the opponent once per round without the need to equip any Weapon.

Critters can be summoned and commanded by the players to attack their opponent. Once summoned, all Critters sleep through their first turn and will not be able to attack, only to be awakened in the player’s next turn and have the ability to attack. This effect does not apply to Critters that can attack immediately when it is summoned. A maximum of 8 Critters on the Landscape is permitted.

Spells are single-use cards that have an immediate effect and do not remain in play once they’ve been used. They provide a bonus to the user or a weakness to the opponent.

Weapons are cards that can be equipped in order to provide Titans the ability to attack. Only one weapon can be equipped by the Titan at any given time. If a weapon card is played whilst the player’s Titan has a weapon equipped, the current equipped weapon will be replaced with the new weapon.

Acting as the elemental card, the Gemstones are used to power up your Critters and Titan on the battlefield. There are six Gemstones: Diamond, Moon, Gold, Ruby, Sapphire, and Silver. Each element has varying effects and different properties, which interact with each other in unique ways.

Each match takes place on the game board known as the Landscape, which is separated horizontally into two sides. The player’s board is positioned in the lower portion of the screen, whilst the opponent’s board is positioned in the upper portion. Each Landscape is associated with its respective PvE adventure, soundtrack, and interactive elements. These features are purely graphical and do not affect mechanics or gameplay.

Animalia is an independent free-to-play online NFT trading card game featuring crypto-inspired meme creatures and gemstones. The game will serve as an introduction of blockchain technology to the world. Players collect rare cards, create their own unique NFTs, build a custom deck, battle with players and sell cards to other collectors. By anchoring in-game assets with BSC-backed digital economies, the users can claim complete ownership of unique collectibles.

Animalia

Animalia rating systems consist of two different categories: experience (XP) level and matchmaking ranking (MMR).

Players can obtain XP by playing games and completing quests. By increasing the XP level, players can unlock in-game rewards. With every additional NFTitan that the player holds, a multiplier will be applied to the amount of XP earned.

MMR is a value used in Ranked PvP to determine the skill level of each player. Each Titan class has its own MMR value. The system will attempt to match a player with a similar MMR value as soon as they enter the matchmaking queue. Based on the opponent’s MMR, the player’s MMR will increase or decrease depending on the outcome of a Ranked PvP match. The five dominance ranks available in Animalia are Omega, Gamma, Delta, Beta, and Alpha. Players with the highest MMR value are listed on the Leaderboard.

The main purpose of the $ANIM token is to serve as a trading currency that players can spend whenever they want to purchase new assets from the Animalia Marketplace. It is also a DAO governance token which will be integrated to provide increasing levels of decision-making ability and for Staking purposes to enjoy rewards.

Phylum $PHL is an in-game uncapped utility currency that players can earn. The purpose of $PHL is to enhance the Play to Earn loop by bonding and crafting new NFTs, and making in-game purchases. $PHL will also be distributed as a reward through PVE, unranked PVP and ranked PVP and other multiple game modes.

As the architect behind Animalia, Bill oversees holistic development and manages the organisation’s mission and vision.
He has great interest in both art and technology and this prompted him to explore NFT blockchain technology. He is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Animalia in order to ensure the final product is aligned with the project aspirations.

Eddy leads the operational functions of Animalia and spearheads the design and utility of tokenomics. He is also involved in strategic expansion and community engagement. He was awestruck by the blockchain technology and has a strong belief that cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others will serve as the foundation in the future of finance.

With an extensive background knowledge in VFX, Joe heads the design and artistic direction of the organisation. He specialises in creating fantasy imagery involving numerous programmes.

With in-depth experience in marketing, she is responsible for the marketing of Animalia and works closely with the marketing and product team.
