AMA Recap: Legends of Mitra x GameFi.org

Greetings Community!

On December 13th, 2021, we organized an AMA with Legends of MiTra — is an 3D play-to-earn defense strategy game in which players can earn $MITA tokens and valuable NFTs based on their engagement, skills, contributions, and efforts in the game.

The AMA session was held in PolkaFoundry’s Telegram Channel with the participation of Mr. Kena, the Project Team Lead of Legends of Mitra, who offered information about the project’s features, some special insight into the game vision, upcoming plans, etc.

The AMA included 3 segments:

  • Segment 1: Guest and Project Intro
  • Segment 2: Twitter Questions
  • Segment 3: Live Community Questions

Host: How are you GameFi Community? Hopefully you have a blast in welcoming the new year! We have an AMA today with the Team Lead of Legends of Mitra.

Mr. Kena: Thank you and happy to be here. Let's go !!

Host: Can you introduce more about yourself and the team behind the project?

Mr. Kena: Hello everyone, my name is Kena and I am the CEO of Gem Studios, Gem Studios is the studio building Legends of Mitra, we are currently 11 team members on a mission to bring F2P2E (Free to Play to Earn) games to both traditional gamers and blockchain gamers.

Before starting Gem Studios, I started my career as a software engineer and entrepreneur back in 2010 and have since built and sold two successful software companies. I got introduced to blockchain in 2015 and started contributing actively in 2018.

Host: You have a fantastic background, Sir.

Please have a quick-introduction to the community about Legends of Mitra and what will it serve?

Mr. Kena: Great question. Legends of Mitra is an NFT strategy game which will be available on Android and IOS phones. You play in the game as a hero and your job is to defend your Kingdom MITRA from the evil Horde. In addition to your hero, you have access to Towers, Traps and powerful abilities to defend Mitra as you progress through the game.‌‌

The game comes with a simple user experience, rich and fun storyline and unique play to earn features as well as
- Staking
- NFT farming
- Guild system
- Governance

Host: The concept of the game is very promising.

Mr. Kena: Yes it is. We are bringing one of the best Play2Earn to everyone.

Host: That is so cool! Can you share more about your roadmap ? What are you aiming to achieve in the 3-months term ?

Mr. Kena: Thank you. Yes here is a link to our roadmap but I am also sharing an image of it below. In the next 3 months we are looking forward to completing the following

  • Complete a successful public IDO on GameFi and RedKite
    - Launch an invite-only Playtest version
    - Complete TGE and Launch MITA token on an exchange.

1st question from @ShenShizu160: What are the functions of $MITA in your ecosystem ?Where and when can we buy it ? Do you have token burning strategy to increase the token value ?

Mr. Kena: Great question. $MITA will be used as utility in the game and will perform the following functions

- Buy NFT Heroes
- Staking
- PVP wage
- Unlock time-gated content,
- Governance
- Buy Game Merchandise

Yes, we have various deflation strategies in our tokenomics to help control inflation overtime. An example is we burn instantly 10% of all the transaction fees we collect on the platform. The most attractive feature of a NFT Game is Play-to-Earn mechanism which provides players the chance to play and earn valuable token. Could you let us know more about Play-to-Earn mechanism/features when the official version is launched?

Mr. Kena: Thanks for the question @Matthewkiue, in Legends of Mitra, we reward players purely based on their skills and performance in the game. The longer your play, the more enemies you kill and the stronger your strategy, means the more rewards you will earn.

How versatile the NFTs on Legends of Mitra will be ? Is there any ways to upper the level of them and what benefits of leveling up the NFTs ?

Mr. Kena: Yes, NFTs in LoM are your heroes and you have to take them to battles. The more your play, the more rewards you will earn and you can use these rewards to levelup your heroes and improve their skills. The stronger your hero the more powerful it will be during a war.

Security is a fundamental factor. What are the security protocols that you have included in your platform to protect all the assets of your main commercial partners and users?

Mr. Kena: I agree with you. Every part of our code is fully audited by one of the best audit firms in the space. We also have plans of launching a bounty reward program to reward ethical hackers who find and report security issues to us and lastly very API call in our system is fully encrypted and secured. Because DeFi and NFT games are trending these days, can you tell me what initiatives you have to attract non-crypto users like traditional investors and gamers? How to educate and how to keep them stay for long?

Mr. Kena: First thank you for this great question @Adalgisa9J. With regards to the strategies we have in place, we have a number of them I will be listing some of them below:

- User friendly UI/UX : we have spent a lot of time in making sure that we are bringing to market the best and most easiest onboarding experience ever. This will make it very easy for even a 5 years old to be able to install and play LoM.

- Free blockchain transaction fees : our players will not have to worry about transaction fees on the blockchain as we will take care of that and pay it on their behalf. This will make it very easy for people to play the game without having to worry about blockchain and fees.

- Inbuilt tutorial system : the game comes with an inbuilt tutorial system that will help onboard players and educate them about all the game mechanics and also how to play the game.

Question 1: Can you share to us about the types of NFT in Legends-Of-Mitra? How much do we need to get started? What attributes will they have? Will this be an item that will strengthen our character? Or will each NFT be a unique character with a power category like Axie Infinity?

- Common
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
- Mythic

Each NFT will be unique and have it own power style. Something similar to what you see in LoL if you have played it before. This is how a hero will look like
